In December 2024, Yayasan PENTA carried out a qualitative Value Chain Analysis and Market Assessment for Yayasan Fondasi Hidup Indonesia in the Mentawai Islands. The study utilized the Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) framework to evaluate industry growth drivers, competitiveness, and the challenges faced by MSMEs. The analysis emphasized key aspects such as end markets, inter-firm collaboration, supporting services, and the broader enabling business environment.
