End line & Evaluation

SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD RECOVERY THROUGH ISLAMIC SOCIAL ENTERPRISE (SULRISE ) & LIVELIHOOD RECOVERY IN POST DISASTER AREA (LIREPDA)
Dec 2024 – March 2025

To support communities affected by the 2018 Sulawesi earthquake, tsunami, and the COVID-19 pandemic, the Islamic Relief Foundation launched two projects: SULRISE (Sustainable Livelihood Recovery through Islamic Social Enterprise) and LIREPDA (Livelihood Recovery in Post-Disaster Areas). These initiatives aim to help disaster-affected families in Palu City and Sigi Regency rebuild their lives by developing sustainable income sources. Women, boys, and girls are among the key beneficiaries.  The PENTA Foundation conducted end-line  and evaluation between January and March 2025 to:

  • Measure the impact and results of the projects on the communities.
  • Provide stakeholders with insights on the projects’ progress and outcomes.
  • Document key lessons learned.
  • Offer recommendations for scaling and replicating successful practices in similar initiatives.
