CARE, in partnership with Chrysalis, has pioneered and led on the replication and scale of the Community Development Forum (CDF) model in multiple markets in the tea sector. Yayasan Care Peduli, in collaboration with Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP), intends to work closely with tea companies in Indonesia to adapt the Community Development Forum model to the Indonesian tea context in a number of districts in Bandung Regency.
YCP pointed PENTA Foundation to conduct Context Analysis and a Baseline Study in the 3 (three) potential intervention villages, and both activities will apply CARE Gender Equality Framework (agency, power relations and structure. The assessment has held in Pangalengan and Ciwidey sub-district, with focus on women tea pluckers from Dec 2023 – April 2024.
