LEARNING MODULE – PROSPER III

Yayasan CARE Peduli – May -July 2025

PENTA Foundation has been assigned to develop the PROSPER III Learning Module, conducted alongside the final evaluation of the PROSPER III program. This comprehensive assignment aims to capture and synthesize two years of implementation experience (2023–2025) in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra. The module distills key lessons and best practices from the program, presenting a concise and practical guide to promote inclusive and sustainable development in oil-palm smallholder communities. It highlights strategies that strengthen smallholder resilience during the replanting period, enhance financial management and entrepreneurial literacy, and advance gender equality in community-based economic activities.

Designed for practical use, the module integrates data-driven approaches and real field insights derived from both the evaluation and implementation processes. It provides actionable guidance for policymakers, private sector actors, and civil society organizations, serving as a replicable model for national and local initiatives that aim to strengthen rural livelihoods and promote equitable growth. Furthermore, the PROSPER III Learning Module underscores the value of multi-stakeholder collaboration, demonstrating how coordinated efforts between government, the private sector, and communities can accelerate sustainable transformation within Indonesia’s palm oil landscape.
